About First Presbyterian Church of Lapeer: First Presbyterian Church is located in downtown Lapeer, Michigan and is the oldest church in the Lake Huron Presbytery. We worship in a beautiful gothic-style church with ornate woodwork and stained glass surrounding the sanctuary. Our style of worship is traditional and includes music that is meant to enhance the beauty of meaning of worship. Music is performed on our pipe organ and our grand piano, and hymns are selected from the Presbyterian hymnal “Glory to God”. We have a choir that meets weekly and sings an anthem at Sunday services 3 times per month. We also have a hand bell choir that plays on Sundays 1 time per month. The church organist/accompanist works together with the pastor and the director of music each week to plan music worship for the Sunday service.

As innovative leaders in vocal music education, we provide experiences to inspire our diverse community.
Our vision is to reach the hearts of all people through song.

The MSVMA Offices are located in the Timme Building on the campus of Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Michigan.
