Dr. Kimberly Dunn Adams

Praised for her energetic, positive, and insightful work as a conductor and clinician, Dr. Kimberly Dunn Adams is currently the Director of Choral Activities at Western Michigan University, where she directs the University Chorale, Collegiate Singers, and Grand Chorus. She also directs the graduate program in choral conducting and teaches associated classes. Her choirs have received prizes in national and international competitions, invitations to perform at choral conventions, and recognition for their recordings. Adams was previously the Director of Choral Ensembles at Mount Holyoke College. She holds undergraduate degrees from Oberlin College & Conservatory and graduate degrees from the Yale School of Music and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Catherine A. Walker

Catherine A. Walker is an Associate Professor of Musical Theatre at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.  Ms. Walker has worked extensively as a music director, conductor, vocal coach, pianist, educator and clinician and her students are frequently found on Broadway and regional theatres as well as film and television.  Ms. Walker is equally comfortable in both classical and contemporary vocal styles and is a specialist in contemporary vocal performance practices and techniques. Ms. Walker has certification as a Master Teacher in the Estill Voice Training Model and is in demand as workshop clinician and vocal coach.  Each year, Ms. Walker serves as a mentor, judge and vocal coach for the national Michael Feinstein Great American Songbook Vocal Academy. Additionally, she has taught at Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand; the American School in London; the Summer University Theatre Experience in San Francisco; and Island Centre Productions in St. Croix, USVI.  As a choral conductor, her choirs have performed at Carnegie Hall, as well as internationally including Italy, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.
