Choral Music Education Scholarship Available
Is one of your students pursuing a degree in choral music education? Please share the following opportunity for a $10,000 scholarship paid in increments of $1,250 per semester for the duration of a 4-year college degree.
Eligibility requirements include the following which must be met or maintained:
Applicant must graduate from a MSVMA member high school.
Applicant must be enrolled in choral music education at an approved school (Click here for list of schools)
Scholarship recipient must maintain a 3.0 GPA and remain in good standing in their program as a full-time student.
Encourage the next generation of choral music educators to take full advantage of this opportunity. Application deadline is May 1, 2020 for the 2021-2022 academic school year. The recipient will be contacted by the middle of May and will be announced at the 2021 Summer Conference.

Have you wanted to work toward an advanced degree or participate in a non-degree choral music institute or workshop? Does study in the areas of choral conducting, composition, with emphasis on choral/vocal music, vocal music education and church music with vocal/choral emphasis sound interesting? Apply for the Carolyn F. Leep Scholarship!
Applicants must have at least three years teaching experience in Michigan and be able to return to MSVMA activities after using the scholarship. Applications are reviewed by the Carolyn F.
