MSVMA is excited about our new Honors Choir Intensive at the Michigan Youth Arts Virtual Festival. The festival will take place from May 13-15 and will be available by invitation to students who participated in the Virtual High School Honors Choir and soloists/ensembles who earned outstanding ratings at this year's virtual festivals. Invited performers who wish to participate will submit a video to be featured in a virtual concert and may choose to participate in the Honors Choir Intensive on Saturday, May 13. Saturday events include:

"Multisensory Intonation: The Magic of Harmony"
Blake Morgan of VOCES8

"Alto and Soprano Sectional and Vocal Tech"
Arianne Abela of Audivi and Kaleidoscope Vocal Ensemble

"Bass and Tenor Sectional and Vocal Tech"
Andy Van Allsburg of Chanticleer

"Full Group Rehearsal with Dr. Jason Max Ferdinand"
The Aeolians of Oakwood University
The Jason Max Ferdinand Singers

Participation Fees:
$30 - Invited Soloists and Ensembles who only wish to submit a video for an evening performance
$50 - Individuals who would like to participate in the Saturday workshops

**Note** Individuals from an invited ensemble may choose to participate in the Saturday events, but each student must register and pay the $50 workshop participant fee.

Upload links have been emailed to paid registrants.

Video Requirements

Video files must be titled "School Name, Ensemble Name". Please provide the full school name (Big Rapids High School) and not the abbriviation (BRHS).
Videos that are summitted with an incorrect file name will not be accepted.
Directors must upload a PDF of their sheet music via the Dropbox request link. Measures must be numbered.
Music must be titled "School Name, Ensemble Name, Song Title".
Only one video is to be submitted per event, with a pause between repertoire selections.

The video submission deadline is March 31.
