In an effort to keep everyone safe, it has been determined the 2020 Choral Student Leadership Conference will be canceled. While everyone is ready to get back together to make music and engage with others who love choral music as they do, we feel July may be too soon to do that. Our goal is to offer the most impactful leadership conference to as many students and directors as possible. With circumstances being as they are, an in person conference isn’t practical for this summer. The good news is Dr. Matthew Arau, Lawrence University, will still be our headliner for the 2021 MSVMA Choral Student Leadership Conference! Plans are being made for the 2021 conference, “Upbeat!” Choral Student Leadership Conference held at the beautiful Blue Water Convention Center in Port Huron. Save the SLC dates and put them on your calendar for next year: July 27 & 28, 2021
