Junior High/Middle School & High School Solo & Ensemble Festival

• January 12 - 13, 2024
• Friday, 5 PM - 9 PM and Saturday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
• Chippewa Valley High School 
• Host: James Pecar
• Registration opens: October 6, 2023
• Application/registration deadline: December 11, 2023
• Solos $20, SE $30, LE $50
• Walk-in auditions for Oakland University will be available for Junior/Senior students.  

         More information will be made available closer to the date of festival.

• Late registration will be available for seven (7) days past the deadline for a late fee of $20/event and late registrations must be paid by credit card. Fees are non-refundable and returned checks are subject to a $15 fee. You will not be scheduled without payment or PO. 

Note: D16 will not hold a separate JHMS S&E Festival in 2024.  Students (JHMS & HS) will attend the Festival in January.

Junior High/Middle School & High School Choral Festival

• March 4-6, 2024
• March 4, 2024 - Dakota HS 
• Host: Tyler Dargis
• March 5 & 6, 2024 - Stoney Creek HS 
• Host: Dr. Brandon Ulrich
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
• Sites will attempt to start with MS/JH choirs and transition to HS choirs. 
• Registration opens: November 20, 2023
• Application/registration deadline: February 2, 2024
• $140 per choir

Late registration will be available for seven (7) days past the deadline for a late fee of $50/event and late registrations must be paid by credit card. Fees are non-refundable and returned checks are subject to a $15 fee. You will not be scheduled without payment or PO. 

District Solo & Ensemble Festival and Choral Festival medals will be available for purchase for $5 at the Festivals for students who receive final determinations of Excellent (I) or Good (II).
